Refund Policy

Overview

Show Notes AI sells subscription access to podcast show notes generation, transcript processing, saved history, exports, and monthly episode credits.

We want billing to be clear before purchase. Paid plans renew monthly unless canceled. You can cancel an active subscription from your billing settings, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current billing period.

If you cannot access your account, contact us at support@podnotes.org and include the email address used for purchase.

Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. A refund is more likely to be approved when:

• You were charged because of a technical billing error.
• You were unable to access paid features after purchase and contacted support promptly.
• A duplicate charge occurred for the same account and plan.
• You requested help within 7 days of the original charge and have not used a meaningful amount of paid credits.

Refunds are generally not available for:

• Fully used monthly credits.
• Renewals that were not canceled before the renewal date.
• Account misuse, policy violations, or attempts to bypass service limits.
• Custom work, support time, or manually granted credits.

How To Request A Refund

Email support@podnotes.org with:

• The email address on your account.
• The plan or charge you are asking about.
• The reason for the refund request.
• Any relevant order, invoice, or checkout reference.

We aim to respond to billing requests within 2 business days.

Payment Processor Timing

If a refund is approved, the payment processor and your bank may take additional time to return funds to your payment method. Processing time depends on the payment method and financial institution.
